With Montreal up 2 games to 1 over Baltimore tonight we have SP Bruce Shea starting for the Shamrocks against SP Boots Lesher of Baltimore. Boots have NEVER lost a post season game but Montreal has a very strong squad of veteran players that have seen the post season. Don't be surprised if Baltimore takes this to game 5. If they do, Hopefully they start the most successful Post season pitcher on their team Junior Cerveza - (SF, ALB, Balt.) 7-1 w/l, 2.24 era, .88 WHIP in 12 Games. I say Montreal takes the series tonight.
Philadelphia vs. San Franciscso
Game 4
Philly is also up 2 games to 1 and they have the potential to take out San Francisco. Rumor is SP Bernie Alvarez will be making the start against SP Darron Becker. Alvarez has posted good numbers in the post season over his career with a 5-2 w/l, 1.51 era ,.97 WHIP in 8 games while the best offense in the league is behind him. Becker has to hope his offense shows up especially veteran C, George Forrest. In just a little over 2 hours we will see if SF can keep themselves alive for game 5!
